Booking

  • You do not have to pay any commission when renting a boat. The price you see is the price you will pay.
  • The rent is usually paid at the time of booking. For week bookings made more than one month in advance you will have to pay only 50% at the time of booking, and depending on the owner only 30%. The remaining amount of the rent is paid a month before the date of rental.
  • The extras, the skipper and the deposit are usually paid at the time of check-in.
  • As soon as you pay, the owner will confirm your booking. At that moment you will receive a confirmation email and we will give you the contact details of the owner.
  • As soon as the booking is confirmed, we will give you the contact details of the owner so that you can specify all conditions of the rent and ask him any questions you may have.
  • In the ship's card, the price covers the extras included and the extras not included that must be paid separately.
  • If you need a rental bill you can ask it the owner once you have confirmed the rent.
  • To book a boat we will ask you for your name, telephone number and email address to send you the offers. Once the booking is confirmed, the owner of the boat or the charter company will be responsible for executing the rental agreement. This, is usually signed at the time of check-in, but you can request it as soon as the booking is confirmed.
  • To cancel a booking, you must adhere to the advance cancellation clauses defined by the owner in the rental agreement.

Incidents

  • If there is a problem of force majeure that invalidates the boat rental we will let you know as soon as possible. We will try to offer you another boat that covers or improves your expectations and it will be your decision to accept or not the change. If you do not accept it, the owner will refund the money paid.
  • If you have an accident with the boat please contact the owner of the boat, who will let you know the steps and will evaluate if you can continue the trip or not.
  • Once the booking is confirmed, it is firm and can only be cancelled due to force majeure (bad weather, unavailability of the boat, etc.).
  • Paying by card through our website is completely safe, since it is carried out on the "La Caixa" platform and it is a secure and encrypted connection.
  • The images of the boat to rent must be real. If you see one image that does not correspond with what you observe, please let us know.

  • When making the request to rent the boat to its owner or charter company, you should ask if they accept pets on board or not. In case they accept pets on board, they will be counted as one more passenger in the boat's capacity.

Safety

  • It is important that you take your time to know the boat and its operation. You should check the equipment and arrange everything that you will need during the navigation. This way, it will be easy to find things. Although you know how to sail, it is always recommended that you go together with another person who knows the area. Therefore, you will be safer and in case of help you will have 2 more hands.
  • The skipper is who better knows the area and weather conditions, so you should attend his recommendations and advices. The skipper has the responsibility and therefore the free right to decide not to go sailing if he considers that the weather conditions are not adequate, or if there is a significant risk for the boat itself and its occupants. If you hire a skipper for several days remember that he is working and is in charge of navigating the boat. His job is not to act as a steward or to cook and you must take into account his daily rest.
  • It is mandatory to bring comfortable white-soled shoes. Dark-soled shoes and sneakers are prohibited, as they are not suitable on a boat. They leave marks and scratches.
  • It is advisable to bring comfortable and breathable clothing in addition to sun protection, a coat and jacket. Although it seems hot, in the high seas and especially at night is always colder and windy.
  • You should avoid going barefoot on board, as with the boat movements it is common to hurt oneself in the feet. You should not throw anything in the water since it is prohibited, among all we must take care of the sea to enjoy it clean.
  • When in a motor boat, you must take into account the consumption of fuel, especially in fast motor boats or yachts. According to the use given, the fuel can be one of the largest expenses in a multi-day rental and it is paid separately.
